Roaa Matouq Khinkar

Dr. Roaa M. Khinkar, PharmD, CPPS, CPHQ is a senior pharmacist specialized and certified in patient safety and healthcare quality, and assistant professor of pharmacy practice. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She is a licensed pharmacist in Saudi Arabia, and Massachusetts (MA), United States of America (USA). In 2017, she completed the Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency Program at Melrose Wakefield Healthcare, north suburban Boston, MA, USA. Then in 2018-2021, Dr. Khinkar completed the Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Residency and 2-year Post-doctoral Fellowship Programs in Quality and Patient Safety at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Quality and Safety, Boston, MA, USA. She currently lectures undergraduate pharmacy students at Faculty of Pharmacy, KAU, and precepts pharmacy interns for the Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety/Medication Safety Rotation at KAU Hospital. Her area of interest is Risk Management and HROs.
