Ziad Mohammed Nakshabandi

Dr. Nakshabandi obtained his (MBBS) degree from the College of Medicine, King Saud University in 1994. Upon graduation, he had undergone clinical training at Prince Sultan Military Medical City (PSMMC) in the specialty of Urology earning his specialist certificate through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), in addition to earning his Saudi Board (SB-Urol) certification in the process in 2000. After that, Dr. Nakshabandi concluded a three-year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston MA, where he has been certified as a Urologist and Pediatric Urologist since 2003. Dr. Nakshabandi later served as Head of the Pediatric Urology Division from 2005 -2015 at PSMMC. At that time, he also served as Chairman of both the Pediatric Urology Scientific Committee from 2010 - 2014, and the Scientific Board of Urology from 2014 -2016 at the SCFHS. From 2016 - 2019, Dr. Nakshabandi served as the Chief Academic Officer in the SCFHS. Subsequently he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Center for Health Workforce Planning in the SCFHS, a position he has held since 2019.
