Minara Chowdhury

Minara has over 20 years’ experience in healthcare operational management and quality improvement. During her healthcare career Minara has had the opportunity to work in the NHS and undertaken global roles in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. She started her healthcare career with the National Health Service in the UK where she held several roles at a senior level. Minara then moved to Qatar to take on a healthcare improvement role. She managed an internal department dedicated to improvement and helped establish a healthcare institute. Minara relocated to Bangladesh to work with IHI on reducing maternal mortality and morbidity. Following her relocation back to the UK, Minara now works on projects in Africa, Middle East, and South Asia. Minara completed her masters in change management in 2004 from the UK. Minara is an Improvement Advisor, a qualified company secretary and a member of the Association of Project Management.
