Dr. Hisham Ahmad Kelendar

Hisham Kelendar, who is a physician by proficiencies, received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Healthcare Management and Leadership with a focus on improving service efficiency using lean management from the University of Bradford in 2021. He also has studied different programs at several universities in the UK. He had a Postgraduate Certificate with Distinction in Patient Safety from the University of Bradford in 2015 and a Master of Science with Distinction in International Health Management from the University of Bradford in 2016. He had a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Economics and Health Policy at the University of Birmingham in 2019. Also, he studied Public Health at the University of Stirling in Scotland. He currently works as Assistant Undersecretary for External Health Services Affairs, in addition to being Head of the Health Economics Department at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health. Hisham is a staff member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, School of Healthcare Management Also, he is the Health Economics and Financing focal point for the Kuwait WHO. Hisham has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications.
